
Richard Heene, the father of the boy in the “Balloon Boy Hoax,” sits down with Larry King. He will serve 30 days of jail time and 60 days of work release. Once he has completed his sentence, his wife will serve 20 days of work release. He commented that he thought that his wife’s sentence was unfair and I did find that troubling. He alluded to having no choice but to plead guilty because his wife was in danger of being deported back to Japan due to an issue with immigration paperwork. This was a very exhausting interview to listen to. Heene came off like he was “winging” it.
