Wirefly: Free T-Mobile Cell Phones + Free FedEx Shipping for current or new customers

Dandruff occurs when the skin cells on our scalp are renewed.  Dandruff can be caused by lack of water, a dry skin condition, infrequent shampooing and stress.   Chronic health conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, or HIV can cause the problem as well.   Dandruff is extremely common and can be triggered by any number of things.

Here are six natural remedies for dandruff:

  1. Mix a teaspoon of fresh lime juice with a cup of warm water and apply to scalp.
  2. Rub a generous portion of aloe vera oil into your scalp 15 minutes before washing hair.
  3. Mix olive oil with almond oil and massage it into the scalp.  Let the solution remain on the hair until it burns.
  4. Mix one teaspoon of lime juice with a teaspoon of garlic and apply it to the scalp.
  5. After shampooing the hair, rinse the hair with vinegar.
  6. Mix 1 cup of warm water and 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, then spray throughout the hair and put on a plastic cap.

A proper diet rich in zinc, B vitamins and water can improve this condition.  If none of the solutions above work, seek professional help with a licensed beautician or dermatologist.
